At Autos of Chicago, we understand that being without your vehicle can be inconvenient. Whether you are visiting us for routine maintenance or a more involved repair, our team offers transportation options to help your day continue as smoothly as possible.
You are welcome to wait in our comfortable, Wi-Fi-equipped customer lounge, use our pickup and delivery service for scheduled repairs, or take advantage of our complimentary shuttle service within a 15-mile radius of the dealership, available Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
CONSIGNMENT OPTIONS

Appointment required
Loaner vehicles are available by appointment only. Please contact us at (224) 858-4007 or fill out our contact form to schedule your appointment. If your vehicle is inoperable or has a safety-related issue, we will do our best to accommodate your needs as quickly as possible.
Eligibility
Loaner vehicles are offered for repair services expected to take longer than 2 hours. Loaner vehicles are not available for body shop repairs. If a rental vehicle is needed, we can help arrange one for you.
Availability
Loaner vehicles are limited, and we cannot guarantee a specific make or model. Loaners are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. If no loaner vehicles are available, we will assist in arranging a rental car.
DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
What you need before using a loaner vehicle
Before operating a loaner vehicle, the driver must provide a valid driver’s license, a credit or debit card, and proof of insurance with minimum coverage. Please consult your service advisor for further details. Your insurance will be the primary carrier in case of an accident or damage, and only the person or persons named on the Loaner Car Agreement and their spouses may operate the loaner vehicle.
Due to insurance requirements, drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
POLICY DETAILS
Important guidelines during your loaner period
Financial responsibility
Drivers are responsible for any charges incurred during the loaner period, including tolls, tickets, fees, penalties, damages, and any costs incurred by Autos of Chicago. A $50.00 administrative fee will be charged for processing these charges.
Return policy
Loaner vehicles must be returned within 24 hours of notification that your vehicle is ready for pickup. A daily usage fee of $79.00 will apply for every 24-hour period beyond the initial 24 hours.
Mileage limitations
Loaner and rental vehicles are to be used only within a 75-mile radius of the dealership and may not be taken on vacations. The mileage limit is 125 miles per day. A fee of $0.50 per mile will be charged for any mileage over the daily allowance.
Fuel policy
Please return the loaner vehicle with the same fuel level as when it was provided. A fee of $8.00 per gallon will be charged for any refueling required.
Smoking and pets
All loaner vehicles are non-smoking. For health and safety reasons, smoking and pets are not permitted in loaner vehicles. A detail fee of $259.95 will be charged if the vehicle is smoked in or if a pet is transported in the vehicle.
Personal belongings
Please remove all personal items and belongings from the loaner vehicle when you return it. Autos of Chicago is not responsible for any items left behind.
